They recently implemented a PeopleSoft solution after a long history of paper-based competency management, and we will share with you some of the “lessons learned” about both competencies in general and the ways that a PeopleSoft Enterprise solutions can make competency management a lot less scary and lot more practical.

Meeting Dates for the Indiana RUG for 2008

We are getting close now...our December 13th meeting invitations should be going out in the next day or so. We are going to try something new this time. We are not confident that everyone is comfortable, or even receiving the emails from Quest, with the current online registration tool. John Bray has decided to create a Google Group for the Indiana RUG where we can post information about our meetings. We might also use a combination of that site and Evite.com to track meeting registrations. Be looking for your Google Groups invitation very soon.

I also wanted to post our meeting dates for next year (2008):

Indiana RUG Dates:
• Feb. 21
• July 24
• November 13
• Quest Midwest is December 4-5 next year.

Thanks and see you soon,

The Indiana RUG Board

Okay...the invitation finally went out for our June 7th meeting...to make a long story short we had a rough time getting the event set up and the invites sent out. Welcome to the first Indiana PeopleSoft JD Edwards RUG meeting being planned with the help of our new online registration system. Sorry for the delay in our invitations...we have been working hard with Quest, and Socious on the backend, to make sure we can continue online registrations now that our support for CVENT has ended. We have made every attempt to make sure all of our members that were registered in CVENT are now registered for Quest but you will need to login in order to register for our event.

Our agenda looks great and it should prove to be much warmer than our February meeting. Come join us and share your knowledge or build some new resources. Below are the links you will need to view the agenda and register, establish a free Web Subscription with Quest (if you or your company is not already a Quest Paid Member) or to contact someone if you need help with your user id and password.

If you click the link and then login it may not redirect you to the RUG website. You can either login and come back to this email to click the link again or you can navigate to the Georgraphic User Groups and select Indiana. You should see the event link there.)
